Arandeco Advanced Certificate Courses are 6 week courses, most suitable for young people aged 13-18 yrs or any young person under 18 with more advanced language skills and/or aiming to develop their Art&Design knowledge beyond a foundation level (ages are guidelines, as every young learner is an individual on their own unique learning journey and a parent/guardian is best-placed to judge whether a learner is ready for a specific course)
Arandeco unique courses are entirely bespoke – developed, created and delivered using only our own proprietary materials. Arandeco is an affordable, enriching Art&Design resource – whether it's a passion for the subject, a thirst for knowledge, a step in academics, or to build a portfolio, these courses are perfect stepping-stones. All courses are taught by an expert artist-educator and all courses are designed and created by the person teaching!
Arandeco’s unique range of courses are available covering the following subjects: Architecture, Fashion, Art, Materials, Design, Interiors, Photography, Sculpture, Business/Retail, Sustainability, Food and Maths/Science. There is also a special course option within each individual specialist subject to buy a package of courses on a specific topic or theme – this is the “Buy the Bundle” option.
Courses are custom designed:

All taught by a passionate, warm, knowledgeable artist-educator – with the background and experience to deliver unsurpassed Art&Design courses.
Courses Details:
Each course has 6 modules, each module covers a different topic.
Each of the 6 topical modules have:
• a 1-hr ‘Demi-Live’ video tutorial, which feels 'live / real-time’ and has built-in interactive elements, but is recorded for 24/7 use, at a day and time that suits you
• follow-along tasks for use along with the ‘Demi-Live’ video tutorials
• informational PDF document
• bespoke activities/homework assignments
• projects
• quizzes
• learn a skill / develop a skill practical elements
• opportunities for learners to share their thoughts, ideas and creations
There is also an end of course research/creative final project (examples and rubric are included).
And there is an option of showcasing work within the Arandeco gallery.
Learners are encouraged (and given the tools) to keep a time/activity log throughout.
Courses may also include additional bonus case studies.
~A personalized Certificate of Completion and transcript are provided upon request, if all elements of the course are successfully completed and if relevant to the course option.
~Submitted work will be assessed online, with positive feedback to encourage progress and development.
These courses cover development of both 1) relevant knowledge & understanding as well as 2) development of specific skills and techniques in the subject.
Course Fees and Options (Learning Time)
All Advanced Certificate Courses are available in 3 different options:
Option 1) Certificate Level
All tasks and materials are included, to be completed independently (self-led); there is no tutor grading, feedback or transcript. A 'Certificate of Completion' is available upon successful completion of the core course components.
Course fees = £30.00 per course (£4.50 per week + £3.00 payment fees)
Total learning hours = 17 (9 guided learning hours + 8 independent learning hours)
o “Buy The Bundle of 7” Option 1 courses, for £170.00 is also available …
a package of a full set of topical courses at a reduced fee.
Total learning hours = 120.
Option 2) Academic/Credit Level
All of the materials, projects, tasks and activities are included, with detailed tutor grading and feedback. A 'Certificate of Completion' is available with successful completion as well as a detailed transcript.
Course fees = £36.00 per course (£5.50 per week + £3.00 payment fees)
Total learning hours = 17 (9 guided learning hours + 8 independent learning hours)
o “Buy The Bundle of 7” Option 2 courses, for £200.00 is also available …

Total learning hours = 120.
o “Buy The Bundle of 7” provides: the learning hours and assessments for a full
USA High School Credit in high school Visual Arts/ Design & Technology;
requirements for the UK Silver Arts Award from Trinity College London;
the equivalent of approx 12 NZ credits.
Option 3) Honours/Award Level
This level includes all of the Academic Level materials, information and support with an additional project element, designed to meet the requirements for Honours Level High School Diploma credits and/or the UK Arts Award and/or be used as part of a personal portfolio. The additional project element is agreed by the tutor and learner before commenced.
Course fees = £45.00 per course (£7.00 per week + £3.00 payment fees)
Total learning hours = 18.5 (9 guided learning hours + 9.5 independent learning hours)

full U.S.A. High School Honours Credit in high school Visual Arts/ Design & Technology;
core components needed for a Gold Arts Award from Trinity College London;
the equivalent of approx 20 NZ credits.

Course Level
Advanced level - suitable for young people aged 13 - 18 years or any young person under 18 with more advanced language skills and/or aiming to develop their Art&Design knowledge beyond a foundation level.
• UK/Australia/N.Z. years 9 - 11
• USA grades 8 - 12
• Canada grades 8 - 12
• S.A. grades 8-12

Transcripts
Transcripts will contain details of all components completed, as well as grades/levels where applicable.
Grades/classifications are:
• Distinction Plus - 90% – 100%
• Distinction - 80-89%
• Merit - 70 - 79%
• Achieved - 50-69%
Online Course Learning Studio
All courses are hosted on an easy to use, free for users, online virtual studio.
Using the online virtual studio simply involves the young person setting up their own individual UserID and password, once they receive their enrolment information, to access their course(s). This gives learners access to their own virtual studio, with all of the course resources and tools therein; a space where they can work through the course modules and activities at their own pace. They can also upload their work within the virtual studio and receive feedback/grades (as well as encouragement and support).

Enrolment information will be emailed to you, usually within 24 business hours of your payment being received.*
Access to course materials lasts for 1 year (but do email us if exceptional circumstances arise, as the timing can often be extended).
